As of today, it is official: With the signatures under the Letter of Interest, Alexander Zillinger, Andreas Zillinger (both founders of SymBiotic Food GbR), FLUXUM Gernsheim site manager Bernhard Scholz and Astrid Lastic (site development FLUXUM Gernsheim) underline their intentions to move the young company into an existing hall at the GreenTech Park as of August 2023.

SymBiotic Food has the vision to revolutionise the food industry! Strictly speaking, it is about the production of food: to this end, the start-up combines innovative systems from vertical farming and fish farming. The result is pollutant-free products from the fresh segment that can be offered the whole year round. With this idea, plant cultivation on the one hand and fish farming on the other can be made more sustainable because it saves space.

"With SymBiotic Food, we can welcome the next company to the GreenTech Park. The company reflects exactly what we stand for here in Gernsheim: Innovation, the future and the motivation to make what is to come more climate-friendly," says Bernhard Scholz.

The establishment at FLUXUM Gernsheim is also accompanied by support within the Ryon GreenTech Accelerator. "FLUXUM Gernsheim and Ryon in combination create enormous potential for us, with which we would like to take the next steps in the development of SymBiotic Food. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but we are looking forward to our new home in Gernsheim!", says Alexander Zillinger.
