The state of Hesse and Merck open the "ryon" accelerator as the starting point for a GreenTech innovation cluster.
A GreenTech Accelerator, i.e. an accelerator for young companies focused on climate and environmental protection technologies, was opened by the State of Hesse and Merck in Gernsheim on Monday. The accelerator, called Ryon, is intended to lead start-ups to industrial maturity. It is the starting point for a GreenTech innovation cluster that links universities, established companies, start-ups, financing partners and public agencies. The state of Hesse is funding the establishment of the cluster with around 510,000 euros. In addition, it is intended to support the project with a rent guarantee.
